Morris Jeske Obituary

In loving memory of Morris Lamar Jeske, 71, of Bryan, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024.

Morris was born on July 11, 1952, to his parents, Ernest and Julie Jeske in Bryan, Texas. Morris was married to Marilyn (Rogers) Jeske for twenty beautiful years.

Morris was a happy-go-lucky, strong-willed man.  Right out of high-school Morris began working for Willie Randermann.  Willie taught him how to lay bricks. His occupations included carpentry, bricklaying, and roofing.  Later in life he worked for Junction 505 at the Brazos County Collection site in Kurten.   He loved his job and the community.  Morris enjoyed visiting, talking and telling jokes with his friends that he met in the decade he spent working for the county. In his earlier years, Morris loved going fishing and hunting.  He and his wife didn’t have children, but they did share their fur-babies that he adored and spoiled.

Morris is preceded in passing by his parents, Ernest and Julie Jeske, his brothers, Milton, Marvin, Norman, and Ernest Jeske, his sisters, Betty Blinka, Julienne McLain and Frances Hromcik.

Morris’s memory will be cherished by his loving wife, Marilyn Jeske, his brother, Eugene and wife Frances Jeske from Bryan, Texas, his sister, Eloise Erwin of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, his sister-in-law Lois Jeske of Smetana, Texas, and brother-in-law Bob Blinka of Smetana, Texas.

Those we love don’t go away,

They walk beside us everyday,

Unseen, unheard, but always near,

Still loved, still missed and very dear.
